Setting up an Airtame using WiFi, may seem like the easiest way, as you will not have to run wired ethernet to your Airtame device. However, we always recommend using all Airtame Devices with Ethernet to get the best and most stable internet connection. Using Ethernet also has the added benefit of making for the quickest and simplest setup.

Prerequisites
Before Setting up your Airtame device and connecting it to your Airtame Cloud account, you should make sure to have completed these steps first. These steps only have to be done once, no matter if you have to set up one or multiple Airtame devices.
- Create an Airtame Cloud account
- Download and install the Airtame App on your Laptop
Once complete, power up the Airtame Device and ensure it is connected to a screen.
Note: You can set up the device in a controlled environment like an IT department office first, and then move the Airtame device to the final screen. However, it's only really recommended when the name of the SSID is the same in both locations. Otherwise, you will have to reconfigure the Airtame device to the new network after moving.

Note: Please ensure the Airtame device is connected to ethernet first, before connecting power. This will ensure the device automatically looks for new firmware within the first 5 minutes of booting up.
