NOTE- For Apple based M1 processors, Rosetta is required on your Mac device for installing the Airtame App.
- Download and open the Airtame app from airtame.com/download/

Drag the Airtame app into the Applications folder of your computer.
3. Launch the Airtame app. The icon will show in the bottom Dock and in the top menu bar.
NOTE: In case the application is not opening after installation, copy the log files from /Users/YOURUSERNAME/Library/Logs/Airtame and send the logs to support@airtame.com
MacOS Big Sur 11.4
This version of macOS has only a few permissions that the administrator needs to approve.
1. Once the app is placed in your Application folder, you can proceed by opening the Airtame app. The first warning that appears is about the App's download source, you can proceed by clicking Open.
2. When you open the Airtame App, a second warning is going to appear, regarding permission for sound while screen recording. Click OK.
MacOS 10.15 Catalina
This version of macOS has extra security features that will display these warnings:

This warning is related to the Airtame app trying to see nearby WiFis (necessary for detecting new Airtame devices ready to be set up).
2. This warning appears as the Airtame application will be capturing your computer screen and sending it to the Airtame device.

4. The first time you open the Airtame app on your Mac, you will see this notification and you will have to click on Enable Audio and you will then be asked to enter the admin password for your computer:
If you try to stream with audio before installing the audio driver, you will again be prompted with a message to enable it:
MacOS 10.14 Mojave
This version of macOS has extra security features that will display these two warnings:

2. This warning is related to the required macOS audio driver, used as a virtual audio input that the app can capture for streaming audio.
Stream with audio
The Airtame audio driver is now installed, and you can stream to your Airtame with audio.

Start a stream by selecting Share Window or Share Screen / Window or Screen.

Click on the audio icon.
Validate installation
To double-check that the Airtame audio driver has been installed successfully:

Click on Share screen to start streaming.

While streaming, go to your computer's System Preferences, then click on Sound.

Check that Airtame is listed as an Output device.
Note that once you stop streaming, the Airtame audio driver will disappear from the list.
