Using Presenter View ensures a professional delivery by separating what the audience sees from what the presenter sees. While the Airtame screen displays the full-screen slides, the laptop displays speaker notes, a timer, and a preview of the upcoming slide. This setup allows for a more confident and organized presentation.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open the Airtame desktop app or navigate to [airtame.com/go](https://airtame.com/go) in a browser window.
- Open the PowerPoint presentation and start the slideshow in full-screen mode.
- Click the three dots (...) in the footer of the presentation screen and select Show Presenter View.
- Use Alt + Tab (Windows) or Command + Tab (Mac) to switch from the PowerPoint app back to the Airtame browser window.
- Connect to the Airtame screen
- Select Share screen
- In the pop-up select Window and select the full screen presentation windows
- Verify the presentation appears correctly on the Airtame screen
- use Alt + Tab or Command + Tab to switch back to the Presenter View window on the laptop.
Now the presentation can be controlled from the presenter view, and the presenter has access to all the slide notes, a Q&A section and a preview of the next slide.
Using Extended Desktop with Native Protocols
For a more automated experience, Airtame supports native streaming protocols such as Miracast and AirPlay. These protocols support Extended Desktop mode, which allows the computer to treat the Airtame screen as a second monitor. When using these methods, Microsoft PowerPoint can automatically detect the second screen and place the presentation on the Airtame while keeping the speaker notes on the laptop.
