This article explains how to install and use Virtual Airtame on Neat interactive flat panels (IFPs), such as the Neat Board. The partnership between Airtame and Neat brings wireless screen sharing, digital signage, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) video conferencing, and emergency alerts to Neat devices.
Prerequisites
- A Neat Board or compatible Neat IFP set up in App Hub mode.
- Access to Neat Pulse for app deployment.
- An active Airtame Cloud organization.
Installation and Setup
Virtual Airtame can be deployed to one or multiple Neat devices using the Neat Pulse software.
- Install Virtual Airtame on the desired Neat device using Neat Pulse. Click here for more information.
- Once installed, open the Virtual Airtame app on the Neat Board.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the onboarding process, which involves connecting the device to an Airtame Cloud organization.
- After setup, the Neat Board will display the Airtame home screen, ready for use.

Wireless Screen Sharing
Present content from a personal device to the Neat Board wirelessly. Users can initiate a screen sharing session from the Airtame desktop app or directly from a web browser without needing to install any software. For a wired alternative, a screen can also be shared by connecting a laptop to the Neat Board via a USB-C cable.

BYOD Video Conferencing
Start a video call on the Neat Board using its high-quality camera, microphone, and speakers, while controlling the meeting from a personal laptop. This Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) approach allows users to easily join calls from their own calendar using services like Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, or Webex.
