Locating the IP address of an Airtame device

An IP address is a unique identifier assigned to a device on a network. Knowing the IP address of an Airtame device can be useful for network configuration and troubleshooting purposes.

Locating the IP Address via Airtame Cloud

Note: This method is for the Airtame hardware, and the device must be powered on and connected to the internet.

1. Log in to the Airtame Cloud organization.
2. Locate the device in the grid.
3. The IP address will be visible in the device information panel.

Locating the IP address for Virtual Airtame

If using Virtual Airtame, the IP address is not shown in Airtame Cloud. Use one of the following methods instead:

Windows

1. Open Command Prompt.
2. Type ipconfig and press Enter.
3. Look for the IPv4 Address under the active network connection.

Android

1. Open Settings.
2. Navigate to About.
3. Select Status.
4. Look for the IP address value.

On-screen display

The IP address of an Airtame device can be configured to be shown on the display it is connected to. To show the IP address on the screen:

1. Go to the device settings in the Airtame Cloud organization.
2. Under Appearance, change Panel Text to Custom.
3. From the drop-down menu, select Device IP Address.
4. Click Save to apply the changes.

Airtame app

It is possible to connect to an Airtame device by entering its IP address in the Airtame app. This can be useful if the device is not automatically discovered.
