The OneDrive Gallery app makes it possible to display a looping slideshow of images from a folder in a Microsoft OneDrive account. This is useful for displaying photo galleries, event pictures, or informational posters that are stored and managed in OneDrive. Using the OneDrive Gallery app allows for quick updates to the images shown on Airtame-equipped screens, as any changes made to the OneDrive folder are automatically reflected without needing to adjust the Airtame settings.
This signage app should not be confused with screen sharing a folder or image from a computer.
How-to
-
Log into an Airtame Cloud organization.
-
Select one or multiple screens.
-
Click the Edit settings button.
-
Click the Signage menu.
-
Click the Add button.
-
Click the OneDrive Gallery app.
-
Click the Sign in with Microsoft button and log into the relevant account.
-
Click the Select Folder button and choose the folder containing the images.
-
Optional: Set the interval between each image. The default is 1 minute.
-
Optional: Toggle on Show folder name as overlay to display the name of the selected OneDrive folder on the screen.
-
Click the Save button to save the app.
-
Click the Save button to save the playlist.
-
Click the Apply button to apply the changes to the screen(s).
After a few moments, the images from the selected OneDrive folder will begin to display on the Airtame screen. If the OneDrive Gallery app is not the first app in the playlist, the app scheduled before it will appear first. To test that the OneDrive Gallery app is working as expected, it can be temporarily moved to be the first app in the playlist.

Requirements
-
An Office 365 account is required. Self-hosted Microsoft Exchanges are not supported.
-
Supported image file formats are BMP, SVG, GIF (static only), PNG, and JPEG.
Other notes
-
The app uses a caching system to load images faster. This means it can take up to 5 minutes for new images added to the folder to appear on the screen.
-
It is important to manage the duration of the app within the playlist. If the total duration is shorter than the time required to show all images at the set interval, not all images will be displayed. If the duration is longer, the image list will repeat.
