The OneDrive Video app allows for a video from a Microsoft OneDrive account to be shown on an Airtame screen. Using a video from OneDrive as signage is useful for content that needs to be updated, as changes made in the OneDrive file will automatically be reflected on the screen without any changes to the Airtame settings.
This app is for showing videos from a cloud-hosted Office 365 account and does not support self-hosted Microsoft Exchange servers.
How-to
- Log into your Airtame Cloud organization.
- Select one or multiple screens.
- Click the Edit settings button.
- Select the Signage menu.
- Click the Add button.
- Choose the OneDrive Video app.
- Click the Sign in with Microsoft button to sync with the OneDrive account.
- Click the Select video button and choose the video file.
- Optional: Enable the Mute toggle to prevent audio from playing.
- Click the Save button to save the app.
- Click the Save button to save the playlist.
- Click the Apply button to apply the changes to the screen(s).
After a few moments, the selected OneDrive video will start playing on the Airtame screen. The time it takes for the video to begin may vary depending on the file size and the network connection.

Requirements
- The supported video codec is H.264.
- Supported file formats include MP4, Ogg, WebM, and WAV.
- For the best playback performance, a video resolution up to 1080p is recommended.
- Please note that after uploading a video to OneDrive, it may take up to 30 minutes before it is available for selection in the Airtame Cloud app.
Other notes
- The OneDrive Video app can only play one video file at a time. To show more than one video in a sequence, add another OneDrive Video app to the playlist.
- When a video is selected, the app's duration will default to the actual length of the video. This duration can be manually adjusted.
- The time needed to buffer the video is not included in the duration. A 2-minute video will play for the full 2 minutes, regardless of the initial buffering time.
- Video playback quality depends on the bandwidth and stability of the Airtame device's internet connection.
