1. Plug it in
Screen
You can connect Airtame 3 to your screen in two ways:
- Use the HDMI port with the included cable
- Use the USB-C port
Ethernet
We recommend connecting Airtame 3 to Ethernet for the best performance.
If you don’t connect Ethernet, the on-screen guide will help you set up WiFi during installation.
Power
Use the included power supply and cable to power the device via the Power or USB-C port.
Alternatively, use PoE+ (Power over Ethernet).
Conferencing
Connect your camera, microphone, and speaker to the USB-A or USB-C ports.
Note: Conferencing requires an Airtame Hybrid license. Learn more at airtame.com.
2. Mount it correctly
Mount Airtame 3 in a well-ventilated spot.
Mounting options:
(A) Table setup
Place the Airtame 3 on a flat surface.
The rubber feet prevent sliding and protect the surface.
(B) Behind the screen
Mount it on the wall or on the back of the screen — outside the screen’s no WiFi zone.
(C) On top of the projector
Note: Avoid hot spots
Mounting methods
(A) Strips
Use the included adhesive strips to mount the device.
- Clean and dry the mounting surface.
- Use the indicators on the bottom of Airtame 3 to align the strips.
- Pair the strips, stick them to the device, remove the backing tape, and press firmly onto the surface.
Note: The strips are permanent and not easily removed.
(B) VESA
Airtame 3 has two VESA mounting holes (60mm apart) on the bottom plate. Ensure you use a compatible mount.
3. Follow instructions
Power the device and follow the on-screen setup guide.
You’ll be up and running in minutes.
