- Plug the borrowed Aircord into the Airtame 2 experiencing the issue.
- Check if the Airtame 2 now displays an image on the screen.
Airtame 2 Doesn't Power On or Shows No Light
If your Airtame 2 is not turning on and no LED light is visible, follow these steps:
-
Verify proper power connection:
- Airtame 2 requires a 2.3A @ 5V power adapter (included with the device).
- The Aircord should only be extended on the Power-side using an Airtame Extension Cord, as it is incompatible with USB extenders.
-
Avoid powering through TV/projector USB ports:
Airtame 2 cannot draw sufficient power from the USB ports of TVs or projectors. Always use the included power adapter. -
Check the LED light:
- A properly powered Airtame 2 will display a green LED light.
- If the LED is not lit, continue with the next steps.
-
Test with another Aircord or power adapter:
- If you have another Airtame 2 device, use its Aircord and/or power adapter to power the affected Airtame 2.
- If the Airtame powers on with the new components, the original Aircord or power adapter may need replacement.
Following these steps should help resolve most black screen or power-related issues unique to Airtame 2. If the problem persists, don't hesitate to contact Airtame Support for further guidance.
