The PowerBI app allows you to select a dashboard from a Microsoft PowerBI account to show your business data on an Airtame screen.
How to set up a playlist with PowerBI
- Log into your Airtame Cloud account.
- Select one or multiple Airtame screens.
- Click the Edit settings button.
- Select the Signage menu.
- Click either the Edit or Add New button for the playlist to use. This depends on whether you already have set up a playlist.

Click the Add button.

Choose the PowerBI app.

Click the Sign in with Microsoft button to sync with your OneDrive account.
- Click in the Workspace dropdown and select the PowerBI workspace that contains the dashboard you want to display.
- Click in the Dashboard dropdown and select the PowerBI dashboard you want to display.
- Click the Save button to save the PowerBi App.
- Click the Save Button to save the playlist.
- Click the Save button to save the changes to the Airtame screen.

PowerBI account requirements
- A PowerBI Pro or PowerBI Premium license is required for this integration.
- Only shared workspaces are listed in the Workspace dropdown
- It is only possible to display Dashboards with this integration, Reports are under consideration for future versions.

- This feature is not available for Airtame 1
Data refresh
The refresh of the Dashboard will be triggered by events occurring in PowerBI. There is no refresh mechanism added by Airtame on top of what is possible with PowerBI.
The following events will trigger a refresh of the view on the Airtame screen:
- Dataset refresh event (scheduled updates or DirectQuery)
- Dashboard layout changes (moving/adding/removing tiles on the canvas)
- Tile configuration change
