How to Assign a License

Once an Airtame screen is added to your Airtame Cloud account, you should make sure it has a license to fully utilize all features. This action can only be performed by the Owner or any Administrator. You can check your role under user management.

Prerequisites: 

To perform this action, please make sure you have unused licenses you can use for your Airtame Screens.

If you do not have unused licenses, you will have first to buy some licenses.

Add a license from the List view

1. Log into your Airtame Cloud account.
2. In the List view, find the device you want to assign a license to
3. Hover the License column where it says Unlicensed
4. In the pop-up, click on Add license button
5. Select the type of license you want to assign to this device and click Add license
   • Depending on the type of device selected, you can either assign a Core or a Hybrid license, or both

1. Log into your Airtame Cloud account.
2. In the List view, click on the Gear icon (last column on the right) for the device you want to add a license to. This opens the device settings
3. In the device settings menu, click on the License section
4. Click on the Add license button
5. Select the type of license you want to assign to this device and click Add license
   • Depending on the type of device selected, you can either assign a Core or an Hybrid license, or both

Add a license to multiple Airtame screens from the device settings

1. In the list view, select the devices you want to assign licenses to and then click on Edit settings
   • We recommend you only select devices of the same type when you want to perform bulk editing. 
2. The device settings page will list how many Airtame screens are being edited.
3. Go to the License section
4. Click on the Add license button.
   
5. Select the type of license you want to assign to these devices
6. Click the Add license button.
