Firmware version 5.1.0- Airtame 2 and Airtame Hub (released October 24th, 2022)

Firmware version 4.5.3 - Airtame 2 (released August 11th, 2022)

Added support for two new Cloud features: Scheduled Reboot and Remote Logs Download.

 

Firmware version 4.5.2 - Airtame 2 (released March 25th, 2022)

We have improved the reliability of wireless networking on Airtame 2.

 

Firmware version 4.5.1 - Airtame 2 (released November 29th, 2021)

A hotfix that enables support for old TLS versions since firmware version 4.5.0 dropped support for TLS < 1.2, which caused problems on some enterprise setups.

 

Firmware version 4.5.0 - Airtame 2 (released November 23rd, 2021)

Improved Airtame OS stability. Fixed quite a few bugs related to streaming stability. Streaming should become more reliable and robust.

 

Firmware version 4.4.3 - Airtame 2 (released September 24th, 2021)

Hotfix when Airtame won't always send correct network information to the Cloud. This release fixes the situation.

Firmware version 4.4.2 - Airtame 2 (released September 15th, 2021)

Hotfix for Airtame devices not connecting to the closest AP and jumping APs.

 

Firmware version 4.4.1 - Airtame 2 (released July 15th, 2021)

Bug fixes

• Fixed a bug when the overlay will lose its transparent background.

• Fixed a bug when the default browser background will become black instead of white.

   

Firmware version 4.4.0 - Airtame 2 (released June 7th, 2021)

Improvements

• Seamless transitions between Airtame Cloud Plus apps in the playlist.

• The Airtame Cloud Plus playlist remembers on which item the streaming interrupted the playback, and will resume playback exactly from that item where the stream was interrupted.

• Improvements for ChromeOS streaming (only applicable when using the Chromebook 5.0.0 beta app).

Bug fixes

• Fixed a "sleeping beauty" issue when the Airtame device would go to sleep and get disconnected from the network when sleeping.

• Fixed an issue when Airtame would "lock" itself when streaming and continue showing the last frame on the screen.

• Improved streaming performance in some cases and other stability fixes.

Firmware version 4.3.2 - Airtame 2 (released April 22nd, 2021)

Improvements

• New Miracast logic: before going in P2P mode, Windows will try Miracast over Infrastructure first. If ports TCP 7250 and UDP 5353 are open on the network, the PC will use Miracast over Infrastructure. If not, it will resort to Miracast P2P.

Bug fixes

• Fixed the situation when Airtame would ignore proxy settings and fail to show a Cloud App or a website if a proxy is configured.

• Fixed the cases that sometimes streaming via Miracast wouldn't show pin-code even if the pin-code was on.

Firmware version 4.2.2 - Airtame 2 (released December 7th, 2020)

Bug fixes

• Fix for smaller issues related to displaying some digital signage content.

 

Firmware version 4.1.1 - Airtame 1 (released December 7th, 2020)

Bug fixes

• Fix for the occasions when the Airtame devices would no longer be accessible in the Airtame Cloud.

• Fix for "Data Cable" issue, when device logs would report the display as a source of power, even though the Airtame device was using a power adaptor.

   

Firmware version 4.2.1 - Airtame 2 (released November 19th, 2020)

New features

• Miracast Touchback pen support for some Epson projectors.

Bug fixes

• Fix for CEC related issues.

• Fix for the occasions when the Airtame devices would no longer be accessible in the Airtame Cloud.

   

Firmware version 4.2.0 - Airtame 2 (released November 5th, 2020)

New features

• Support for Content scheduling.

• AirPlay with media playback (supported by AirServer). Available for Airtame 2 devices only.

Bug fixes

• Fix for cases when the browser couldn't load contents and resulted in a white screen.

• Fix for cases when CEC would cause screens to show a white screen.

 

Firmware version 4.1.0 - Airtame 2 (released September 28th, 2020); Airtame 1 (released October 12th, 2020)

New features

• Support for CEC, Miracast over Infrastructure and Miracast Touchback (for Airtame 2 only).

• New markdown variable in the overlay guide text: (AP_NAME).

Firmware version 4.0.0 - Airtame 2 (released July 23rd, 2020); Airtame 1 (released September 1st, 2020)

Bugfixes

• Vimeo signage bug fixed.

• Smaller technical fixes.

 

Firmware version 3.9.2 - Airtame 2 (released June 10th 2020); Airtame 1 (released June 22nd, 2020)

New features:

• Moderator tool — makes it possible to stop a stream from the Airtame Cloud platform.

Issues fixed:

• Issue when Airtame's standby timer would start when it shouldn't.

• Smaller bugs related to the Moderator tool.

   

Firmware version 3.9.1 - Airtame 2 only (released April 14th, 2020)

Issues fixed:

• 802.1X authentication issues.

• Flooding RADIUS servers with a lot of auth-deauth loop events when EAP-TLS is used.
  
  

Firmware version 3.9.0 - Airtame 2 (released April 15th, 2020); Airtame 1 (released April 20th, 2020)

New features:

• Miracast streaming functionality from Windows and Android devices to Airtame (Airtame 2 only):
  
  - No need to install the Airtame application.
  - Stream without being on the same network.
  - Fully mirror from Android with audio on all major Android devices.
  - Use Airtame to extend your desktop on a separate display.

Issues fixed:

• It is now possible to connect to an SSID with trailing whitespace in the name.

   

Firmware version 3.8.1 - Airtame 2 (released March 13th, 2020); Airtame 1      (released March 16th, 2020);

• Playlist: Upload up to 20 different Airtame Cloud apps, URLs or images to loop through different content.

• Sleep Schedule: Control when your Airtame should turn on and off the display. It won't control the TV, just the screen content.

• Google Cast: Share your screen from an Android device or from a Chrome browser. (Only for Airtame 2).
