Set an internal website as background

Many Airtame users host internal pages on their servers. You can easily show these internal sites as the screen background on Airtame. 

 

Requirements

  1. The site must be reachable from the VLAN that Airtame is connected to.

  2. The website must have HTTPS.

  3. For Airtame 1: The site must not have a memory footprint of more than 150MB when rendering.

  4. The site cannot contain Java, Flash, Silverlight, WebGL.

  5. The URL must contain "http://" or "https://"

 

Using the Digital signage app on Airtame Cloud

Set up a playlist app:

You can also set Airtame up to display the website via your Airtame.cloud account. You will be able to set up URL refresh intervals as well. How to set it up:

  1. Log into your Airtame Cloud account

  2. Select the device/devices that you want to show the Website app on and click Edit settings.
  3. Select the Signage tab and click Add under Default Playlist

  4. Select Website.

  5. Enter the URL you want to display .e.g https://airtame.com/

Note: You have the option to set page refresh and to Ignore Certificate Errors (only for trusted websites)

      6. Click on Save in the upper right corner.

 

Limited signage

Note: this option only applies to unlicensed Airtame 2.

  1. Log into your Airtame Cloud account

  2. Select the device/devices that you want to show the Website app on and click Edit settings.
  3. Select the Signage tab and select Website under Limited Signage

  4. Enter the URL you want to display .e.g https://airtame.com/

  5. Check the Ignore certificate errors option
