Airtame screens periodically receive product improvements and new features through firmware updates. By default, your device and app will update automatically. We recommend you consider enabling scheduled updates, to ensure these updates do not happen at any inconvenient time.

How to manually update the firmware
Note: While the Airtame screen is updating, it cannot be used for screen sharing, calls, or digital signage.
- Log into your Airtame Cloud account.
- If an update is available, you will see a blue badge in the Version column for the Airtame screen.
- Select the device.
- Click the Update button.
The device will start to update, showing progress information on the Airtame screen.
How to apply beta firmware
Warning: Beta firmware may not be fully tested and has a higher risk of including defects that can affect the experience. We only recommend applying beta firmware to Airtame screens, which are not critical to your setup.
- Open Airtame settings
- Click the Updates menu.
- Choose the Beta option under the Update channel.
- Click the Apply Changes button.
- Select the device.
- Click the Update button.
This will start installing the newest beta firmware.

To switch an Airtame screen from the Beta firmware back to the general release, simply follow the previous steps but select General release (recommended) in the update channel option.
