From version 4.2.0 and moving forward, the Airtame application will no longer use UDP 8002 to stream content from your computer to the Airtame device. We've optimized our protocol for content delivery to use TCP 8002. This means that we're introducing a layer of reliable delivery to improve streaming performance and the overall user experience.
This change will only impact streaming sessions initiated with the Airtame application. Native streaming protocols (AirPlay, GoogleCast, and Miracast) are not impacted by this change.
Depending on how your Airtames have been deployed in your network, you may be required to update access-control lists on L3 appliances and/or firewall rules to allow TCP 8002 to traverse your network.

Please refer to the appliance documentation from your vendor to find the appropriate instructions to make these changes.
