The Microsoft 365 calendar authentication requires a certain level of permissions within the Azure tenant to ensure Airtame can properly fetch newly created or updated events with the connected service account.
Consequences of missing permissions are:
- Room Overview app or Room calendar not showing any event
- Inability to select rooms in the Room Overview or Room calendar picker
- Missing events on the Airtame screen or missing updates
To help you identifying these issues, a specific recommendation is now issued in the Recommendations section when we notice Airtame is missing necessary permissions.
If your Cloud organization reports this problem, please follow the implement
Follow the following steps to resolve the issue:
- Log in to the Azure Portal.
- Navigate to Microsoft Entra, then Manage > App Registrations
- Locate the Rooms Overview application in the list of registered apps. If you don't see it, use the search bar to find it.
- Click on the Airtame app to open its settings. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Manage > API Permissions
- Under Configured Permissions: make sure that all permissions are granted, both Delegated and Application type of permissions
