Note: As most modern TVs and projectors use a 16:9 aspect ratio, the following examples will use this aspect ratio. In case your screen has a different aspect ratio, feel free to reach out to support, and we will be happy to assist with resolution details for your screen.
When applying signage like an image background or a slideshow, making sure the content fills the entire screen is often key to a clear and sleek setup. With Airtame you can apply a "panel" which will show information about the Airtame screen and how to connect, but this panel will appear on top of your signage by default. Depending on the signage this may cause issues where some content cannot be read by the user.

How to avoid overlapping content
One way to do this is by turning off the Show panel on top of signage toggle in the appearance setting for the device. When this is done, the content will not be hidden behind the panel, but black bars may appear if the aspect ratio of the content is incorrect.

Resolution for each panel position
To generate content to perfectly fit the screen, please use the following guide:
Panel position | Aspect Ratio | 1080p resolution | 4K resolution |
---|---|---|---|
No panel | 16:9 | 1920 x 1080 px | 3840 x 2160 px |
Left/Right panel | 11:9 | 1320 x 1080 px | 2640 x 2160 px |
Footer Panel | 18:8.2 | 1920 x 984 px |
3840 x 1968 px |
When using the correct aspect ratio the content should perfectly align with the screen resulting in no black bars.
