Variables
Some of the information that you will need may vary when you change settings, therefore we have made some variables that you can insert which will replace itself with this changing information. For example the device's name.
Build your onscreen instructions using any of the following variables by copying the two "curly brackets" on each side of the word. i.e {{DEVICE_NAME}}
IP address: {{DEVICE_IP}}
Name of Airtame: {{DEVICE_NAME}}
WiFi name: {{WIFI_NAME}}
WiFi IP address: {{DEVICE_WIFI_IP}}
AP Name (name of the Airtame's own WiFi/AP): {{AP_NAME}}
AP IP address: {{DEVICE_AP_IP}}
AP password: {{AP_PASSWORD}}
USB IP address: {{DEVICE_USB_IP}}
Ethernet IP address: {{DEVICE_ETHERNET_IP}}
Update channel: {{DEVICE_CHANNEL}}
{{DEVICE_IP}} will result in the IP Address of a connection in the following priority order, depending on what connection is available: Ethernet IP > WiFi IP > AP IP > USB IP
Text Formatting
The text appearance is controlled using Markdown, a system which will change the look of text when special characters are added on either side of the text you'd like to look different.
Headers: # (H1), ## (H2), ### (H3), #### (H4), ##### (H5), ###### (H6)
Italics: *asterisks* or _underscores_
Bold: **asterisks**
Line-break: [space] [space] [enter]
Line-break + empty line below:
[space] [space] [enter]
[space] [space] [enter]
Line-break + dividing line: ___ (3 underscores)
No Hyperlinks in Overlay text: <pre>[email protected]</pre>
Extra space between letters:
"Hello there!" would result in an extra space between "Hello" and "there"
H6 is always grey. It is the same size as H5. So use H6 only with corresponding backgrounds.
Below you can find examples based on how you've set up your Airtame device and how would you like people to connect. You can copy and paste those in your device settings.
