Configure your network
It is common to have guests and external people connect to a separate network than your internal users and Airtame. By default, such networks will not have access to devices on your internal network - called "Client Isolation"
The solution is to configure your networks so that each VLAN has access to Airtame. We have illustrated and explained our recommended solutions for this here: How to integrate Airtame into your Network
With or without the Airtame app
Windows Guest App
For users without administrator rights or users who will only be using Airtame once, you can use the Windows Guest App. It doesn't need to be installed nor does it require administrator privileges.
Airtame App: For users without administrator rights will be using the same version as the "regular" app for macOS but should run the Airtame app without dragging to the application folder.
AirPlay: It is also possible to use our built-in AirPlay functionality on your Mac or iOS device to stream. This means that no app required. Learn more here: Present to Airtame using iOS devices
AirPlay: For iPhone and iPad users, you can use the built-in AirPlay functionality provided this is enabled on your Airtame.
iOS Presenter app: In case AirPlay is not available, you can use this app to present static files.

Providing the app
You have three options:
- Go to www.airtame.com/start. Here you will find all versions available and select the one you need. We will automatically detect what platform you are using and highlight the best fit.
- Go to airtame.app. This will automatically start downloading the Airtame app. For Windows this will always be the Windows Guest App which means minimizing any potential challenge for the guest to select the wrong version.
- Store all version on a USB pen: You can download each file and store them on a USB pen for easily providing guests and external users. Note that you should keep the app updated as we release new versions.
