Short answer: Yes, you can.

Airtame has two built-in WiFi:  2.4GHz and 5GHz. This means you can either connect directly to Airtame's own WiFi or integrate it into your local network.

How to connect to Airtame's own access point:

  1. Open the available WiFi list of your computer
  2. Connect to the WiFi named the same as the Airtame
  3. Open the Airtame application
  4. The name of the Airtame should appear on the list

How to connect Airtame to your local network:

  1. Open the available WiFi list of your computer
  2. Connect to the WiFi named the same as the Airtame
  3. Open the Airtame application
  4. The name of the Airtame should appear on the list
  5. Click on the "Settings" when you hover the mouse over Airtame's name. You will have accessed the Airtame's device settings
  6. Scroll down
  7. In the Network option select the WiFi you want Airtame to be connected to
  8. Click on "Apply Settings"

We recommend connecting Airtame to your local network for being able to both stream and have internet access. You can read more here:

However, you can connect directly to the Airtame device's Access Point in order to stream content such as Powerpoint presentations located on your personal device.

Note: This ad hoc connection will not allow you to have internet access from your personal device.
