The Dropbox Gallery app, accessible from your Airtame Cloud account, will allow you to: authenticate with your Dropbox account, select a Dropbox folder, select the amount of time (interval) between images being displayed, and even show the shared Dropbox folder on-screen to allow others to easily collaborate on screens background images. 

Note that the Dropbox app does not support full PowerPoint presentations. Please separate and save the PowerPoint presentation slides as individual image files. Instructions here. (section: "Save a single slide as an image").

How to set it up

  1. Log into your Airtame Cloud account

  2. Go to the Screens tab

  3. Select one or multiple screens

  4. Click "Edit settings".

  5. "Select an app", "Add" or click on the "X" to replace the current one

  6. Choose the "Dropbox Gallery" app

  7. Click "Connect with Dropbox" and sign in to Dropbox with your Dropbox account or with Dropbox's Google integration.

  8. Click "Choose a folder" with Dropbox and select the folder you wish to use.

  9. Select an interval time for switching between images.

  10. Choose whether to enable or disable the Dropbox folder name on the Airtame-equipped screen.

  11. Click on "Save" and "Apply changes".

️Please note that the supported files format is .JPEG, .JPG, .PNG, .SVG, .GIF, .TIFF.

Once you have chosen the images and have selected a time interval between those images, the default duration will be shown, which is calculated as the number of images selected times the time interval between the images. You can also manually choose the duration of these images being shown.
